Event: Relay for Life
Date: May 12-13, 12PM

Description: Help fight the ongoing battle against cancer by fundraising in Relay For Life! When you register, sign up with the Circle K Walking Turkeys, strap up those jogging shoes, and prepare for a relay around Drake Stadium for 24 hours, all to support those fighting cancer with their very lives.

Event: Kiwanis One Day Service Project

Description: Save the date on your calendar  for one of the biggest K-Fam service events of the year! On this day, Kiwanis, Aktion Club, Circle K, Key Club/KIWINS, Builder's Club, and K-Kids all come together to work on a large service project. You can choose to go to the Kiwanis One Day for either Santa Monica or Downey Kiwanis (both are happening at relatively the same time in different locations). Santa Monica Kiwanis will be doing a beach clean-up from 10:30-2 PM while Downey Kiwanis will be doing a clean-up and beautification project at Bunche Middle School in Compton from 7-2 PM. This is an excellent way to meet and network with Kiwanians and Aktion Club members, people from other Circle K clubs, and people in Key Club/KIWINS, Builder's Club, and K-Kids.

Event: CAYP Kiwanis Playground Restoration

Description: Time to come out to do some service and meet another branch of the Kiwanis Family- CAYP (California Young Professionals). We will be helping out with the restoration of the playground (especially the jungle gym and the see-saws) at a domestic violence shelter, and we will also be helping them with a side project for the Children's Institute.

Culver City Kiwanis Meeting (6:30AM-8:30AM)

Description:...do you like BACON STRIPS? Or maybe you want a nice free Denny's breakfast? Regardless of reason, Culver City Kiwanis helps sponsor some of our clubs events, so come out and support them. This is a great opportunity to build connections in case you are looking for a job or internship.

Santa Monica Kiwanis Meeting (12:00 PM - 2:00 PM)

Description: Santa Monica Kiwanis sponsors our club time and time again. Come out and support their new board! Meet Kiwanians, network with them, and learn about their life experiences and career. FREE FOOD provided! Plus, this is also another excellent way to build connections for internships and jobs or learn more about different fields and majors if you are currently undecided.

Description: Despite being a small Kiwanis group, Fairfax Kiwanis works with the Fairfax KIWIN'S to better their community. Come out and give them support and enjoy the view of the Grove.

Description: Do you like working and playing with kids? K-kids is the Kiwanis branch made up of elementary school kids and they love to do service whenever they can. Come out and help the kids do their monthly service project at their meeting.

*BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION*
Help out the school of our K-Kids, Playa Del Rey Elementary, by collecting Box Tops from products like ZipLoc bags, tissues, toilet paper, cereal boxes, and icing.  For a complete list of everything Box Tops are on, go to http://www.boxtops4education.com There will be a competition: The person who brings the most boxtops throughout until the end of spring quarter will get a special surprise, from the K-Fam Chairs.
