District Events

As part of a larger organization of clubs around the world, our club also does large scale projects with other schools in our Cali-Nev-Ha district! Not only do these projects allow you to experience service on a massive scale, but you also get to meet a lot of cool people from other schools. Come join the clubs from our lovely Cali-Nev-Ha district this February in one of our biggest join service projects this whole year! We will be heading to Riverside where there will be a variety of projects. We can’t wait to see you there!

Masquerade Ball is UCSD Circle K’s biggest, baddest charity fundraising event. Through this annual event, our club raises over $15,000 a year to help prevent and address the issue of child injury. The event is held on a three decker cruise ship in the beautiful San Diego Harbor and attracts guests from universities across California. Great raffle prizes, free casino play, karaoke, a bigger boat… and more! This year's theme is Enter a world where fantasies become reality and it's on October 29, 2011! Don't miss the event of the year and don't forget to dress to impress :)

Each year, Fall Training Conference is held up in Northern California! Hosting all the clubs from our Cali-Nev-Ha district, FTC serves as a way to train the new leadership, make new friends, and have tons of fun! The weekend includes a ton of workshops so you can learn more about Circle K, build your leadership skills and meet tons of new people. You don't want to miss one of the biggest events of the year! This year, the theme for FTC is Route CNH: The Highway to Service. So you sure don't want to miss our unforgettable trips at FTC! This event will takes place on November 4-6th, so don't miss out! Every year, the California-Nevada-Hawaii district of Circle K comes together to compete in a series of relay races. The registration fee for each team is donated directly to the Pediatric Trauma Program. We encourage clubs to send as many teams as possible, and feel free to bring along your Kiwanians. Hey Circle K’ers! Are you a new officer who has no idea what to do? Or a wondering Pacman who wants to develop their leadership skills and know more about Circle K? Maybe you’ve already eaten many power-ups and cleared so many levels that you have experiences and wisdom to share? Well then I better see you at Spring Training Conference South! The day will be filled with workshops of all sorts, from officer training to leadership development, and even fun ones such as hip-hop dancing and photography! These workshops are meant for ALL members so that you can meet and share ideas with Circle K’ers all over Southern California and Las Vegas. So I hope to see you there! Looking for an excuse to hang out with Circle K’ers from all over the district while doing service at the same time? California-Nevada-Hawaii’s annual District Summer Service Social is right around the corner!!! This year, District Summer Service Social (DSSS) was in Town and Country Hotel and Resort in San Diego, CA from August 18-20. We had many fun events lined up such as an outdoor, environmental service project, a scavenger hunt in a local mall, Key to College at the resort, supply sales at the Kiwanis District Convention, and much more!
