Membership Development & Education Committee

What We Do:

mdeMD&E committee's main job is to develop and educate members! This means we help to recruit new members, run the family system, educate members about the club, work on retaining old members, and in general make all members feel welcome and appreciated :] The events and projects we put on range from family socials to meeting icebreakers to educational events like Family Jeopardy. Also, our committee is in charge of the family house system, which involves appointing family heads, assigning families, making sure they're doing well, and running family competitions. If you want to help out the club greatly and directly work with improving our membership and its many aspects, MD&E committee is a great way to get involved!

How You Can Get Involved:

Attend our weekly committee meetings! This is our main way of brainstorming ideas for meeting icebreakers and planning out educational events, which of course you should attend :] Also, if you are interested, become a family head and be the person who helps to make new members feel comfortable and help them to grow and achieve their full potential within the club! It has been proven that family heads really do make a difference in the lives and overall membership experience of their cubbies, so we definitely need enthusiastic people who are good mentors to apply! And, even if you aren't one, this doesn't mean you can't help out in the process! We can all contribute towards the overall membership experiences of one another!

Committee Meetings every week: Tuesday, 7-8pm (All meetings are in Rieber 147/149 depending on availability)
