Pillow Fight 2008

Wish you could make a difference by just rolling out of bed? UCLA Circle K had a solution for you. On April 20th, 2008, UCLA Circle K hosted a massive pillow fight in Ackerman Grand Ballroom on the UCLA campus in order to benefit Camp Little Bear, a camp designated for underprivileged children who are much more deserving than their circumstances allow them to be.

What is Camp Little Bear? Camp Little Bear is an initiative created by UCLA Circle K in order to provide a positive, nurturing experience for children from the inner city. Camp Little Bear will provide a cost-free excursion into the woods that will build the foundations of leadership they would otherwise be deprived of. The time they spend at this camp will be time spent on creating confidence—enough to last a lifetime and a day.

You might be wondering what you can do. It’s simple. Aside from funding a summer camp, your contribution provides a future for children that will resonate for years to come and bless the camp with the sanctity of goodwill. Remember that you are all members of the Kiwanis family, and that you are all united by the tradition of service to those who need it the most.

Donate towards Pillow Fight 2008. You don’t need me to tell you that this is going to be a fantastic opportunity to rise to the occasion.
